Chief Technology Officer / Systems Administrator
Hands on CTO / Systems Administrator supporting 120 end users, responsible for Information Technology services with a $500K budget. Managed the strategic planning, development, network and telecommunications infrastructure, greatly improved network security, directly provided end user support and computer repairs. Oversaw technology purchasing and vendor management while ensuring alignment of corporate and technology goals across seven offices with a superior return on investment.

  • Took a failing network that crashed daily and redesigned it with new servers, Cisco switches, enterprise class SonicWall Firewalls, backup tape library and all new software
    • This included new servers in two satellite offices and expanding the storage capacity of a remote server and connecting all into the main domain
  • Reduced the need to outsource technical support by establishing and maintaining an in-house IT Department saving the company over $4.8 Million
  • Saved the company $200K by researching and switching hardware and software vendors
  • Brought in new copiers through out the corporation being the same brand and received a $30,000 rebate

Ran the service and gas delivery functions for a small gas station. Scheduled customers, conducted repairs to cars, sold motor fuel and lubricants, ordered fuel and parts as needed. Reconciled daily books, paid for fuel delivery and parts.

While there I built a high performance street car. It started with a 1971 Camaro with a 307CID engine. I rebuilt the car from the ground up starting with swapping the 307 for:

  • A 400 small block, 4 bolt main bored and stroked to 454 CID.
  • The heads were ported and polished.
  • Installed 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust titanium valves with a triple angle valve job.
  • Needle bearing rockers.
  • The pistons were 8:1 compression with head land rings.
  • Carrillo aluminum rods.
  • The cam was a gear driven roller cam.
  • Dry sump oiling.
  • Ignition was a Vertex Magneto.
  • Custom made wires to the plugs.
  • Intake was with an Edlebrock Torker manifold.
  • Accel Turbo-sonic turbo.
  • Holly 850CFM Double pump carb with center hung fuel bowls on Dzus fasteners.
  • Nitrox Oxide injection.
